There’s something about riding that words never quite capture. The rumble of the engine, the open road stretching out ahead, the camaraderie of riding alongside others—it’s more than a hobby. For me, it’s a way of life.

I ride a '72 Sportster Harley-Davidson. It’s not just a bike; it’s a piece of history with grit in every gear and soul in every mile. Riding that machine isn't about going fast or showing off—it's about connection. Connection to the road, to the people I ride with, and to the causes we support along the way.

What makes this lifestyle even more powerful is the community that comes with it. Nothing beats the feeling of rolling into a bike event with a crew of brothers and sisters, each one with their own story but bound by a shared love of the ride. Whether it's a local charity run, a bike night, or a huge rally, it’s the people that make it unforgettable. You meet strangers who become family faster than you can say "kickstand down."

But riding, to me, isn't just about fun—it’s about purpose. I believe in giving back to the same communities that have given me so much. Whether it's raising money for veterans, kids’ hospitals, or local shelters, hopping on my bike for a cause is the most fulfilling ride of all. There’s power in a pack of bikes rolling in for something bigger than ourselves. It turns heads, starts conversations, and opens wallets—and that’s how change happens.

United We Ride isn’t just a slogan. It’s a reminder that together, we can make a difference. One ride, one rally, one donation at a time.

I'm Riding for Community & Cause in United We Ride

Tuesday 15th Jul 2025 On Saturday the 6th of September 2025, I'm taking part in United We Ride, a national motorcycle event brought together by Harley-Davidson Australia & New Zealand in support of The Salvation Army. This isn’t just any ride — it’s a powerful show of unity, passion, and purpose as dealerships and riders roll out at the same time across Australia and New Zealand to raise vital funds for those doing it tough. The Salvation Army provides crucial support to people in need — from emergency relief to homelessness services, domestic violence support, financial counselling, youth programs and so much more. Their work helps transform lives in local communities, and this ride is our way of backing them. So before I fire up the engine and hit the road, I’m asking for your support.
