It is a blessing to give💖🙏

I was reflecting today leading up to this charity ride about my own life and the lives most of us live and the many things we enjoy. Most of us are safe, we have food, shelter, a regular job and all the things that make a blessed life you could say. Often we take all these things for granted as if our birth right. Every day on my bus I see and pick up many dear souls who are down and out. Unfortunately many these lives out there whom due the  complexity of their lives,  unstable or unsafe violent homes,  unexpected events, sickness hence unemployment, separations and the loss of their homes, the inability to afford and pay the rent, tragedies etc, have found themselves pushed into positions of desperation and homelessness and despair.

I Give thanks to God for what I have at this point of time in my life, and the health to assist in the course of each year with a couple of these charities. I also give thanks to the many charities and individuals who selflessly offer their time,  participating in helping of others. 

It is a great blessing to give our time, our space our energy, yes above all our prayers to all those who through the complexity and circumstances in their live have fallen. 

I'm Riding for Community & Cause in United We Ride

Wednesday 16th Jul 2025 On Saturday the 6th of September 2025, I'm taking part in United We Ride, a national motorcycle event brought together by Harley-Davidson Australia & New Zealand in support of The Salvation Army. This isn’t just any ride — it’s a powerful show of unity, passion, and purpose as dealerships and riders roll out at the same time across Australia and New Zealand to raise vital funds for those doing it tough. The Salvation Army provides crucial support to people in need — from emergency relief to homelessness services, domestic violence support, financial counselling, youth programs and so much more. Their work helps transform lives in local communities, and this ride is our way of backing them. So before I fire up the engine and hit the road, I’m asking for your support.
